Why I Created This Organizer
I initially learned about the stress and hurt of losing a loved one and the importance of being ready when my wife Michelle passed away in 2008 from cancer at 40 years of age, leaving me with an 8-year-old child to raise 240 miles from my family.
I had to take over running a household and the financial tasks my lovely wife had done (Michelle was an accountant and very good at all of this). I learned the best way to be able to do this is to be organized and to have the information you need in one place before you lose a loved one.
Now, as a single dad helping care for my elderly parents (ages 87 and 91) along with my 6 loving siblings, I understand even more deeply how crucial it is to have all important information organized and accessible. We simply do not want their legacy of love, commitment, hard work, and stories to get away from us forever.
